Devastating Fire in German Music Plant

NEWS//  A major fire broke out in the Pallas Group’s CD production center early Monday morning with losses expected of more than ten million euros.  The pressing plant was located in Lower Saxony Diepholz, Germany and was one of Europe’s largest music production centers.  No people were located in the building and at this time the cause of the fire is unclear.  The portions of the plant that were affected were for CD and DVD production and an office for vinyl records that was nearby remains intact.

At this point it is possible to predict how this will affect the thousands of labels, musicians, and distributors dependent on the Pallas Group.
